Madonna Lee started assisting photographers while studying in London.
Returning to Chicago she fine tuned her techniques. Katie now resides
in Indiana where she going to film school. She made a 4 minute short
(used 16mm black and white film, real film, not DV) over the past summer.
She is currently working on the film score (music). She will also be
starring in a Indy feature film that is being made in South Bend . She
is learning the technical aspects of both film and photography.
"You know it
is worth it. All the work and sacrifice that goes into it, it is worth
it if you love it. That is how I feel about film, it is very demanding,
you know to hold everything together, but there is nothing like doing
it yourself and looking at what you have made and seeing it out there."
