Jen Hemenway started doing comics as a teen. In 1993, She began a zine called "55407" that was very popular in Minneapolis. Later, she got into painting on wood and began dabbling with wall paint and different mediums. After moving to Boston, She began getting more serious about her craft and started doing underground art shows. She also began working on skateboards and sells these designs under the label UPSIDE DECKS. She has been published in BOSTON GIRL GUIDE, LESBIAN REVIEW OF BOOKS and QUEER RAMBLINGS. She also does CD artwork and is available for any custom medium. |
